Print at 100% scale for an accurate strip

How this printable sizer works

This tool gives you a strip marked with US ring sizes at their true physical positions, based on each size's real inside circumference in millimeters. Print it at 100% scale — never "fit to page" — cut it out, wrap it around the base of your finger, and read off the size where it meets itself.

Step 1: Check your printer's scale

Before trusting the strip, verify your printer didn't shrink or stretch the page. The line below is set to exactly 30mm (about 1 inch).

Print this page, then measure the printed line above with a ruler. It should measure 30mm / 1 inch exactly. If it doesn't, open your printer settings, set scale to "Actual Size" or "100%" — not "Fit to Page" — and print again.

Step 2: Print and cut the sizing strip

The strip below shows a readable, on-screen preview — it isn't drawn to physical scale, since 21 sizes packed into 26mm of paper would be unreadable at screen resolution. The version that actually prints uses the real millimeter positions from our sizing table, so it's accurate once it's on paper.

Cut along the outer border. Align the START line at the back of your finger, wrap the strip snugly around, and read the size printed closest to where the strip meets itself.

Step 3: Wrap and read your size

  1. Align the strip's "START" line at the back of the finger you'll wear the ring on, then wrap it snugly around.
  2. Note which printed size lines up closest to the point where the strip meets itself.
  3. That's your estimated size on the US scale — convert it to UK, Japan, or EU sizing if needed.
